As a soon to be graduate, I know how hard it is to get a full-time marketing job. Even with a year of marketing experience, most companies want three to five years for an entry-level position. This is why I’m happy I learned about the JobPrepped program. JobPrepped is a digital marketing bootcamp + immediate work experience program.  Upon enrolling, you get access to 20+ hours of digital marketing lectures taught by Joseph Blanco, a former hiring manager of a Fortune 500 company. He has hired hundreds of people in his career and knows what hiring managers are looking for. You also get access to his network of recruiters who are looking for JobPrepped students to hire. The first day I enrolled in the program, I had recruiters reaching out to me and secured marketing interviews within 2 weeks of joining JobPrepped.

After you are done completing the training, you get work assignments that help you apply what you know. The assignments focus on social media, email marketing, PPC marketing, and SEO. After you complete each assignment, you receive direct feedback from Joseph. He gives in-depth feedback that pushes you to think more strategically and help you grow as a marketer. Additionally, you receive a marketing guide that is 500+ pages that includes all aspects of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, lead generation, SEO/SEM, PPC advertising, etc.  The resume and interview guidance will help you prepare for your marketing interviews. Having his interview preparation tips has made me more confident going into interviews. The biggest tip I have learned is that hiring managers do not really care about learning more about you, but more about the value you bring to the organization. How can you help grow the business? What marketing strategies can you implement 30, 60, and 90 days on the job? How can you make their lives easier?

Overall, I highly recommend the program for anyone looking to get their first job in marketing or someone trying to change careers.  I couldn’t believe recruiters reached out to me on the first day of joining or that I got marketing interviews within 2 weeks of starting the program. Joseph cares about his students and wants them to succeed. This is a great program that hopefully will become much more well-known as it’s extremely valuable for many.
